Oswego County criminal records are divided among the Sheriff’s Office, local and county courts, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services, state corrections, and the New York State Sex Offender Registry. This private reference site helps readers identify the office, official portal, or request route that holds each part of that record trail.

Why We Built This Site

New York has several official access routes, yet none serves as a complete public Oswego County rap-sheet search. The Sheriff’s Office holds its incident and county custody material. Fulton City Court, Oswego City Court, town and village courts, and County Court maintain their own case files. DCJS offers fingerprint-based Personal Record Review only to the subject of the record. New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision and the New York State Sex Offender Registry answer different questions. We organize those distinct channels, their contacts, and their limits in one reference.
